Patterns, both man-made and natural, attract and fascinate me. Parallel strands of iron laid over beams of oak that make up a train yard, the rings of a spiderweb, doors in a strip mall, the pedals of a flower, these are the things that catch my eye. Even better when that pattern falls apart or is interrupted which is why I really like what I was able to do with the walls of the Golden Coors plant in Crossing a Line. Since the first time I saw it, the endless grey checkerboard that makes up the walls of the Coors Brewing Plant in Golden, CO has fascinated me. It wasn't until, on a photowalk with Penny, I saw the yellow handrail cutting across the lines did it all come together for me. Father, Husband, Cyclist, Photographer, Linux Geek, and Overall Nerd. This is where the things that fall out of my head end up. Sometimes.
